Cana Potter

Throughout career pursuits including fashion, theater and modeling, flowers have remained an underlying joy in Cana’s life.   In a forehead-smacking moment (appropriately set inside the St. Paul Como Conservatory), Cana realized that this thing that makes her so happy might just be something to pay attention to.

Beyond occasion flowers, MuseFlora is Cana’s way of giving this joy back to the world around her.  With it, she strives to provide a different way to experience flowers; to uplift our daily state of mind; and ultimately, to prompt a newfound respect for our natural elements beyond the arrangement.

Outside the design studio, Cana loves birding, camping, puzzles and libraries, impromptu road trips, the smell of damp soil, belly dance, ballet dance, haute couture and good on-screen kisses. MUSEFLORA.COM

Art in Bloom

Minneapolis Institute of Arts (Mia)

April 11-14th.  FREE

For 10 years, I've participated in this annual spring event as a Pedestal Floral Artist, joining over 150 other citizens, each choosing a piece of museum artwork to interpret as a fresh floral arrangement, which is then displayed next to the piece throughout the galleries.  This year, I've been invited to participate as a Commercial Florist, joining other florists in the Twin Cities who contribute to the event by creating a large scale floral installation for the museum's common spaces.  Look for MuseFlora's Commercial Florist installation in the second floor Rotunda, between the 24th street seasonal entrance and the fountain.
