Betsy Dorow started Sketchy Betsy in 2018 after her co-worker was looking for a custom digital illustration of a dog to give as a gift. She soon realized how many people value something custom made, and enjoy the playfulness that comes with a digital illustration. Betsy’s passion for art started with her grandmother, who is an amazing painter. She has a degree in Psychology & Business from the University of St. Thomas, and she is a Project Manager for a local bank. She is passionate about mental health & mindfulness, financial literacy, and animal rescue. In her free time, you can find Betsy walking her dog, Maisie, through Loring Park, spending time with family, or unwinding at the cabin.
