 Graduating from design school at the height of the great recession, opportunities in the luxury field of Interior Design were scarce. Born out of sheer necessity to make a living wage, Emily started a small interior painting operation to fill in the gaps her multiple part time jobs couldn't fill. After a year of juggling, she took the leap to become self employed full time. What started as a home painting/handy woman service, blossomed into a functional design company, as she gained experience as a contractor & the economy mended. Resulting in the forming of Righteous Digs LLC : a company born out of a decade’s long search to find meaningful work that incorporates practical skills and creative energies. It brings together the desire to implement a multifaceted skill set and create community with clients and craftsmen alike, interested in emotional connection to their surroundings and the preservation of quality goods.
